Taparia CMS is a role-based carton management platform that digitizes secondary-carton and master-carton packing workflows, handles standard and assorted order logic, and generates challans and labels for dispatch — replacing manual and semi-digital processes across 5 warehouses.
Problem Statement
Taparia's carton handling workflow depends on a packaging hierarchy where product quantities are handled through secondary carton standards, and multiples of those secondary cartons are then grouped into master cartons.
The company operates with over 4000 products and 5 warehouses, making manual carton planning difficult to scale. Each product has its own carton standards, and challans must reflect the final master-carton grouping correctly. Labels also need to be generated for each master carton with the right shipment details.
- Manual carton planning was difficult across thousands of products
- Warehouse teams needed a consistent way to manage master carton and secondary carton definitions
- Standard and assorted orders required different handling logic
- Challan preparation depended on correct carton grouping
- Label generation had to match the final packed master cartons
- Operations across 5 warehouses needed centralized control with role-based access

Solution
Taparia CMS was built as a centralized carton management platform with two main user levels: Super Admin and Warehouse users. The platform supports 5 warehouses and manages a large product catalog with warehouse-specific operational control.
The system is built around two carton types:
- Secondary carton: the base packing unit for each product
- Master carton: the outer carton containing multiples of secondary cartons
The platform digitizes the following workflow:
- Manage warehouse users under Super Admin
- Maintain product master data
- Define carton dimensions and standards
- Import/process orders
- Detect whether the order is standard or assorted
- Pack secondary cartons into master cartons
- Generate challan output
- Generate labels for the packed master cartons
Standard order: If the order quantity is in exact multiples of the quantity defined in the master table, it follows direct full-carton packing. Assorted order: If the order quantity is not aligned with exact master-carton multiples, the remaining quantity is treated as assorted and handled with optimized carton logic.

Conclusion
Before:
- Carton planning depended heavily on manual interpretation
- Product-to-carton grouping was harder to standardize
- Standard and assorted order handling was operationally inconsistent
- Challan and label preparation added extra manual effort
After:
- 5 warehouses can operate through a centralized carton management system
- 4000+ products managed within one structured platform
- Secondary-carton and master-carton logic is digitized
- Standard and assorted order handling is system-driven
- Challan and label generation is tied directly to packing output
- Super Admin gets centralized oversight while warehouses work independently
Taparia CMS creates stronger consistency, better control, and a much more reliable dispatch process for a business managing thousands of products across multiple warehouses.
